Microsoft Teams & Slack Integration

Connect Leadbacker to Microsoft Teams or Slack to receive feedback notifications and praise alerts directly in the tools you already use. You can also open and use Leadbacker in full from within Microsoft Teams.

  • Key User — sets up the Slack workspace connection for the whole organization
  • All users — connect their own accounts after the organizational setup is complete

Prerequisiti

  • Your organization's Appkey — found in the Leadbacker invitation email
  • The email address in Teams or Slack must match your Leadbacker account email exactly
  • For Slack: the Key User must complete the workspace connection before individual users can connect

Passaggi

Microsoft Teams — connect your account

  1. 1In Teams, click the three dots (…) in the sidebar and select More apps.
  2. 2Find Leadbacker: if it appears under 'Built for your org', click it. Otherwise search 'Leadbacker' in the store.
  3. 3Click Add.
  4. 4When the Leadbacker chatbot prompts you, type your Appkey in the format: Appkey YOURAPPKEY (no quotation marks).
  5. 5The bot confirms your connection. You'll now receive Leadbacker notifications in Teams and can open the full app from there.
If the connection fails, your Teams email probably doesn't match your Leadbacker email. Contact your Key User.

Slack — workspace setup (Key User only, one-time)

  1. 1Log in to Leadbacker and go to the USERS page.
  2. 2Click Add to Slack and follow the on-screen instructions to link your Leadbacker environment to the Slack workspace.

Slack — connect your individual account

  1. 1In Slack, click + next to Apps in the sidebar.
  2. 2Search for Leadbacker and add it to your account.
  3. 3You'll now receive notifications for feedback requests and praises.

Note importanti

  • Your email in Teams or Slack must match your Leadbacker account email exactly for the connection to work.
  • The Appkey is in the invitation email you received when your Leadbacker account was created.
  • The Slack workspace must be connected by a Key User before individual users can set up their own connections.
